M. Chocolatier

Having read today's contribution to the "Italiannotebook" by Normanno Ross (see http://www.italiannotebook.com/ )on the virtues of the Maestri cioccolattieri in Anzio, a spontaneous thought went out to those sculptors of chocolate works of art. Those ingenious figures of their imagination destined to provoke wonder in the beholders, but alas, don't last more than a few precious moments before being devoured by appreciating guests to the venue in which they are proudly exhibited.

So much has been written on the subject of chocolate, that recent events dedicated to "degustazione" or chocolate-tasting have become ever more frequent. Let's face it, many are dedicated wine experts, or sommellliers but few are chocolate experts. Time to find out more......
